Takers the Movie – Movie Reviews

This looks at the crime thriller Takers, with the all star cast starring Paul Walker (The Fast as well as the Furious) as John Rahway, the stalwart Idris Elba (Rock N Rolla) as Gordon Cozier, Michael Ealy (The Good Wife) as Jake Attica, Hayden Christiansen (Star Wars: The Phantom Menace) as A.J., Matt Dillion (Traffic) as Jack Welles, with an impressive performance by Chris Brown as Jesse Attica.
We join the movie as our protagonists are undergoing a bank robbery, that goes as smooth since they planned, leaving no trace as to their identities or who would have done the position, and so they have the courtesy to wave at the home security camera (masked needless to say) and gives a signature salute. It is left to two cops Jack Welles and Eddie Hatcher played by Jay Hernandez (The Rookie) to determine who completed the robbery, with basically very little else to go on except the heights of the culprits, and their gestures for the camera.
This is slightly different from other crime related movies, just like any good movie we presume empathy for that characters, even as get to know somewhat relating to personal struggles, particularly for Cozier, as they attempts to care for his sister Naomi played by Marianne Jean-Baptiste (28 Days), fresh from rehab; amidst the work these are planning, employment that they can unexpectedly are actually asked to do, by certainly one of their associates, no person inside group quite trusts, Dalonte Rivers, played very convincingly by T.I., who tells them of the opportunity he learnt of whilst in jail, with several millions for them to get, when it goes smoothly.
ซีรี่ย์ ฝรั่ง seems that the reason none in the group trusts Rivers, is 5yrs ago he was caught as well as the time he has just spent in prison was like a direct result with the joint job he previously with them, Rhaway assures him his takings from that job are in a checking account, but still good for collection, which Crozier and the others reckon, here is the only reason why he failed to allow them to have up.
We will also get to see somewhat of the problems faced by the police force because they deal with some in the criminals, Welles as they tries to make time for his daughter, and deal with the situation at hand, while Hatcher tries to reveal to Welles his priorities really are a little squinted.
Love interest for Jake is provided from the lovely Joe Saldana (forever in our minds as Neferti from Avatar) playing Lilly, this proves somewhat contested issue, as she was Dalonte’s love interest before he visited prison, and it has his sights on taking her back. There is a scene where Jake and Dalonte have a little confrontation looking at Lilly as Dalonte efforts to reassert that she still has feelings for him before Lilly.
The acting in Takers is first class and you’ll be around the edge of your seat to discover the way all onfolds.
